Coordination of Czech Space Activities

The Space Activities Council was established in 2026 on the basis of the Minister of Transport’s Coordination Council for Space Activities following the transfer of responsibility for space activities to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Space Activities Council serves as the Czech Government’s permanent coordinating, initiating, and advisory body for space activities.

Members of the Space Activities Council include the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of the Environment, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, the National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NÚKIB), and the Commissioner for Cooperation with EUSPA. A number of other institutions are represented as associate members. The portal is operated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
