ISS Payload Safety certification process workshop

The European Space Agency is organising an ISS Payload Safety certification process workshop, which will be hosted in ESA-ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands, on the 27th and 28th November 2014. The objective of this workshop is to provide the participants with an understanding of the ESA Safety certification process for the International Space Station ( ISS) payloads. An introduction to the technical safety requirements applicable to the ISS Payloads will also be provided.
Target Group:
Payload Safety Engineers, System Engineers and Project Managers working or planning to work to the development of Payloads and Experiments for the International Space Station.
Due to the expected number applications to such activity and in order to ensure the maximum profit from each session, the number of participants will be limited to 20 people on a 'first come first served' basis. A second course is envisaged for early 2015.
The workshop will be held in two sessios. Workshop upcoming dates:
- November 27-28, 2014 - Application close out date: October 31st, 2014
- February 5-6, 2015 (tentatively planned) - Application close out date: January 15th, 2015
